Purple Red was commissioned to create a Key-Art for the TV show “Out Of Time” (later renamed Continuum), featuring a female cop from the future chasing rebels who traveled back in our time. Since the show was still in pre-production at the time, no picture of the cast was available, and all the elements had to be created from scratch.

2) Font selection and first visual explorations.

3) Selection of a stock photography model for a more realistic treatment, addition of the gun and badge, color correction, and background design (architecture, sky, lights).

4) Fine-tuning of the background. Detective badge (detail).

5) Close up of the futuristic city sky line with the flying police car (on the other side of the character stands a city that belongs to our current era). The architecture has been created with elements and buildings shot in downtown Los Angeles for the occasion.
