An evolutive website for the French city of Aubervilliers.
The challenge was to display an impressive quantity of information in a clear way, yet optimize space on the screen and make sure the site could evolve for many years to come.
The answer: combine an expendable flash menu to contain the 7 sections and their submenus, and make it work with a Content Management System to allow a flexible editorial access to the many services the city manages.
2) Using the city colors (red and yellow) for the home page, and inspired by its local newspaper, the layout offers multi columns options, as well as menus on the sides and at the bottom of the pages.
3) 4) 5) 6) each section has a dominant color, and related images are on displays. The moon and the sun symbols from the logo create a subtle background pattern for each page content.
